Have you guys heard of Allison Iraheta? She is a 18 year old American singer from LA, California who came in fourth place on the eighth season of American Idol. Her debut album “Just Like You” was released on 1st of December 2009 and guess what. I just had my hands on it and started playing it in my laptop.

The album has 13 songs:

1.Friday I’ll Be Over You

2.Robot Love

3.Just Like You

4.Don’t Waste The Pretty

5.Scars

6.Pieces

7.D For Dangerous

8.Holiday

9.Still Breathing

10.Trouble Is

11.No One Else

12.Beat Me Up

13.You Don’t Know Me

My favourite song in this album would be “Still Breathing”. In that song, she has controlled her voice nicely and it shows out her true voice. I would say her style is more like Pink, Orianthi and a bit Kelly Clarkson. All in one combine becomes Allison Iraheta. She has a very unique voice but in my point of view, she hasn’t fully make use of her unique voice and there is still room for improvement.

That’s her, Allison Iraheta!!

Here’s a short video of her doing her photoshoot. Enjoy!!

Lastly, I would say its a MUST buy album for a punk rock fans out there!!!

Let’s continue on my cousin’s wedding registration day. He was very nervous that day and when he came out from the car, his shirt was soaked with his sweat. We were all there laughing at him. Haha. This is once in a life time for him, I’m sure I will be nervous as well. :)

After all the short ceremony and photo session, we were all ready to have a big meal together. It was a meal to celebrate their engagement. Everyone were so happy eating and congratulating them. I wonder when will be my turn. LoL.

Cousin’s Wedding Registration

David is one of my closest cousin I grew up with. Since young, we played many things together such as football, shooting thick folded papers, catching here and there, trading dragon ball cards, “masak masak” at our grandma’s house, fooling around in his house, computer games and many more. Those were my childhood memories with my cousins in Penang. He was the one that took care of me when I was in Penang too.

When I first met him and started to get closer, he was only a high school student. But now, he is already getting married. This year, 3 of my cousins are getting married. Seems like I’m gonna be real busy this year.

Here are some photos of my cousin’s wedding registration day in Penang.

Me and my cousins.

More photos will be up soon!!!

Dou Moo Gong Temple At Penang

One of the night while I was in Penang, I took the opportunity to visit one of the famous temples in Penang called “Dou Moo Gong”. Initially they turned off the lights of the temple because it was not a special day. My aunt was kind enough to ask a favor from them to turn on the lights so I could snap a better photo of the temple.

They whispered among themselves and finally decided to turn on the lights. I was so excited and I started to snap some photos.

My next temple I want to visit is “Ji Le Shi” which is located at the Penang island. Chinese New Year is still on and the lights were all fully turned on. They even finished building the Guan Yin statue which is now the biggest in the world.

I can’t wait!!

Ice Steamboat QE2, Kampai!!!

Continuing my Penang solo trip. Basically, I spend most of my day time in my cousin’s house online and playing some lame games with my cousin. Everyone was busy working during day time and there isn’t any car available for us.

So during night time, we only get the chance to go out!!! We were suppose to gather with other family members at Gurney Plaza but I was too tempted to grab an ice cream from Swensens.

Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.

Sadly after the big ice cream I ate, I was pretty full already and I lost my appetite to eat.

This is one of the best steamboat in Penang and I can’t eat much that night. Anyway, the picture is good enough to tell it’s flavour. Hehe.

After having the appetite-less steamboat dinner, my aunty decided to bring me n my cousin to QE2 to have a drink. It is a pub, restaurant and also a club. Since it was a Sunday night, there isn’t many people but we enjoyed the sea breeze with our drinks.

The drink my cousin ordered. Kampai!! I drank most of it although it was her drink because it’s so addictive I guess. I’m still trying to find where else I can get this drink but the closest I could get was the non-alcoholic Kampai in 7-eleven. :)

Before I start to blog,I would love to wish everybody Happy Chinese New Year!! May the Tiger be with you. :)

Last year (better not mention the date), I travel back to my hometown alone to visit my relatives in Penang. I planned to stay there for about 1 week to take a break from events and work. At least my cousin who just came back from Taiwan can accompany me around Penang.

This is my first time taking Aeroline bus and this is how it looks like.

That night I arrived at Penang, my aunt brought me to have korean food at Daorae. I only tasted the branch at Subang but not in Penang.

My Korean Cold Noodles. Damn nice wey!

My cousin who just came back from Taiwan (future fashion designer).

That night was also my cousin’s fiancee’s birthday and the leng chai Korean man gave her a bottle of plum wine. The main motive we asked for that bottle so that we all could share it on the table.

I love this wine a lot, where can I get it outside?

More photos from my Penang trip soon!!!
