Pie In The Sky

While we were having dinner, suddenly we got a call from the others about a road trip to Mount Dandenong. Everyone looked at me and ask if I’m interested, I told them ‘SURE!!’. I was looking forward for a road trip outside the city and have a look around Victoria State.

Up in Mount Dandenong, they had the famous place selling pies called Pie In The Sky and the best scones in Mrs Marples.

This pie paradise had won 12 gold medals in all the pie competition, imagine how awesome their pie can be. One bite and you’re in the sky.

I forgotten what pie I had but it was freaking awesome. The rest said it taste no different from the pie in 7 Eleven. I got no idea how they ate their pies. LoL.

After having our awesome pie, we quickly rushed to Mrs Marples for the best scones because we were on queue for a few tables. We had to wait for 90 minutes just for our tables. This shows how awesome their scones can be.

The scones I had in Malaysia were round, tiny and it has the crumble texture. The scones I had in Mrs Marples was rather unique in shape and it’s soft and smells awesome. They served us with their fresh whipped cream and their specialty strawberry jam. I tell you, I spammed the whipped cream on my scones and bite it with pleasure. Guess what happened?

I got chubbier cheeks already. LoL. Well honestly, I gained a lot of weight since the first day of my Aussie trip. Imagine 4-5 meals a day filled with awesome food and chocolates. That’s the side effect. LoL.

It was winter here, so they had their own winter christmas celebration here. They had a special menu and I ordered the Christmas Pudding. This is my first time tasting a Christmas Pudding and this pudding totally blew my taste buds. Freaking awesome!!

Next post, the Giant Chair!!!

Finally I have some time to settle down and blog about my Aussie trip. I’m gonna skip my posts about Adelaide and head straight to Melbourne!

I just love the smell of the city in Melbourne and the atmosphere of highly dense multi-cultural population. Everything was in a faster pace now compared to Adelaide. I met a lot of new friends here through Harn and it makes my trip in Melbourne even more exciting. One of the night, we headed to Lygon Street to have Italian food at Corretto for Pinky Tham’s farewell dinner because she was heading back to Malaysia.

It was a rather fun dinner that I enjoyed during winter and with the people around me to laugh with. By the way, I gained so much weight already!!! LoL

Next post, road trip to Mount Dandenong. Fantasize the photo with your wildest imagination and you will get the picture.

Bondi Beach with Awesome Chocolate Souffle

This morning, me and John woke up extra early in the morning for a morning walk along Bondi Beach. Bondi Beach is one of the top beaches in the world for surfing and it’s view. I would say its totally amazing and the sea breeze was awesome!

I was rather lucky to visit the beach on the right day because it was a sunny morning. All the aussies will do their beach jogging, TOPLESS sun bathing, walking the dog, skate boarding etc. I was there facing the sea and just stood there for quite some time.

After having a short visit at Bondi Beach, we headed to Bondi junction for some awesome chocolate souffle from Max Brenner.

The chocolate souffle was the bomb, its the best souffle I ever tasted in my entire life. Warm by itself, packed with molten chocolate inside the souffle complimented by a scoop of rich vanilla ice cream. Once its in my mouth, i could taste heaven.

I rate that souffle 11/10!!!

I will be heading to Adelaide in 9 hours time. Hello Adelaide!!!

Freshest Fish in Sydney Fish Market

There’s this place called ‘Sydney Fish Market’ that has their freshest and famous seafood in town. I woke up extra early morning today so that I’m able to spend more time around town to shoot some photos.

When we arrived that place, our face and fingers were numb because the temperature this morning was 6 degrees Celsius. It’s getting colder and colder day by day. Although the weather was extremely cold, this is what I shot. :)

This is just on of the few shots I taken this morning. I hope you guys like the photo.

After shooting some photos there, John finally brought me to the fish market I have always been waiting for. I just love fresh fishes to be cooked on the spot and to be eaten by me instantly.

I had the BBQ and grilled Baramundi fillet and Pacific Oysters. Foodgasm!!!!!

The fishes and oysters were totally awesome. I’ve never tasted any seafood this awesome before in my life.

Tomorrow is my last day in Sydney, after that I will be heading to Adelaide. :)

I finally got the cable to transfer photos from my phone. All the photos here are taken using my Nokia E72, hope you guys don’t mind the poor quality in photos. I was in Melbourne for 6 hours because my next domestic flight to Sydney was 7 hours away. I met up with Harn and Kaye to hang out in Melbourne city and have our usual yam cha session.

It was decided by them that we have some awesome chocolate in Max Brenner at Melbourne Central. How shall I describe the chocolate in Max Brenner? Is there a word that is way better than awesome??

I ordered Tutti Frutti Waffle and Banana Praline Crepe. These two dessert were the bomb!!!

Me and Harn.

We haven seen each other for more than 6 months already and I totally missed them. The last time we had our own reunion was during my birthday dinner but that was like 6 months ago. Even when I’m in Australia, I have to meet up all of them 1 by 1.

I wonder when will be our next reunion. Next post, photos around Sydney!!

Sydney-Direct Factory Outlet

My very first shopping experience in Sydney was in DFO (Direct Factory Outlet). That’s the first place John brought me to in Sydney. Once I reached that place, fuh…..it’s heaven for shopaholics!!!!

They got brands like Polo Ralph Lauren, Cotton On, Tommy, Quiksilver blablabla. All these brands have at least 50% sales and the prices were dead cheap. I bought a cotton on shorts for just rm30 and Quiksilver shorts for just RM90. If I were to buy the same thing back in KL, it would cost at least 3 times more. I bought so much more here and I only spent less than 150AUD.

Me and John waiting for our bus to get back to Waverton.

What’s my plan for tomorrow? I’m going to have my 1 day photo shooting around Sydney town. Hope I could snap some awesome shots!
